If you love history the KwaZulu-Natal battlefields are perfect for a visit. They commemorate battles between the Boers, Zulus and British.
One incredible place is Spionkop which boasts of a massacre where more people were killed in an acre than anywhere else in human warfare. Also 3 very influential people were involved in this fruitless battle. Gandhi, Louis Botha and Winston Churchill.
On this tour we also explore the famous Sani Pass
At the top of Sani Pass (after a magnificent drive) we visit the highest pub in Africa for lunch and see the amazing mountain kingdom of Lesotho. You can see our vehicles here. Up here we are on top of the stunning Drakensberg escarpment. Expect some beautiful mountain views. As we are entering another country you must have a passport.

What would a tour of KwaZulu Natal be without a camp right at the beach. The warm Indian Ocean in KwaZulu-Natal has a lot to offer. Enjoy sunny days relaxing at the beach with stunning sun rises right from our campsite. We have warm and sunny beaches almost year round in KZN!
While camping on the beach we have an opportunity to do some deep-sea fishing or surf fishing. Of course just a saunter along the sandy beaches is great for the soul.
No trip to KwaZulu-Natal would be complete without a visit to a game reserve…
Come and see incredible African wild life with us. We visit to a game reserve that has it all including the famous Big 5. Here we do an afternoon into an evening game drive with the compulsory sundowner while enjoying nature. Once back at the lodge we have supper and an early night. We wake up before the sun to get out on another game drive. The early morning is different to the late afternoon.
