16 Day Best of Botswana Safari.
The 16 day best of Botswana safari tour is really a fantastic way to get the best taste of Botswana. Our guests always say “what a lovely country to visit” Click here to see how you can join us in your own vehicle. Of course you are also welcome to drive in one of our vehicles.
We visit Botswana’s remote and harshly beautiful Makgadikgadi pans and of course the special Moremi national park in the Okavango delta.
It is wild and remote, just how we like it…
so we have to be well prepared with water, fuel and good food.
We travel through the pristine, nature lover’s paradise. The Okavango Delta; is in Northern Botswana.
This place is unbelievable. Guaranteed to be the best African wildlife viewing you can get. We spend 3 nights camping here to really explore this amazing place. After the fairly dry Kalahari the Okavango swamps are quite a change.
Nature and African wildlife is what we live for and we love showing our guests our Africa.
Although not in Botswana, the Vic falls are certainly worth a visit.
For those who want to add something quite magical to this tour we also offer an additional day trip into Zimbabwe. Here we visit the impressive Victoria Falls or “Mosi-oa-Tunya” (the smoke that thunders) as the locals call it. At 1078m wide it is the largest curtain of water in the world and a World Heritage Site! Victoria Falls is truly an incredible experience, even standing in the view spot you feel the spray of these magnificent falls.
Of course an early morning boat cruise on the Chobe river is a must.
This time of day we spot the animals coming to the river to drink. From a boat the view is really different than from a vehicle on the banks.
After all this fun we drive South to stay at a really special place. Where elephants rule is at Elephant sands. A firm favorite where we can sit in our camp while elephants saunter past for a drink of fresh water pumped there especially to attract these huge animals. Of course we have to visit the special Kubu island. If you enjoy taking photos of the stars then this is the place to do it.
