The gigantic Fish River Canyon in southern Namibia, the 2nd biggest canyon in the world, it is about 160km long and nearly 27km wide in places, and nearly half a km deep! Next to Sossusvlei, this is the second most visited tourist attraction in Nambia.

See the beautiful Ghost Towns of Namibia, Kolmanskop, a diamond mining town which grew from nothing to a boom town almost overnight. Now it is abandoned and slowly being cosumed by the sand dunes. We have an opportunity to visit Luderitz to try the amazing German cuisine, and eat fantastic world class Atlantic Oysters!
Around Aus we have the chance to see some of the beautiful feral Namib horses…
The history of these horses is unclear, but they have adapted thoroughly to the desert environment and can survive for up to 5 days with no water. The rare Namib Desert Horse, is a a feral wild desert horse found nowhere else in Africa or the world.
At Sossusvle we will see some of the largest Sand Dunes in the world…
