Zambia has the distinction of having 40% of Africa’s water flowing through it. So while we are most likely  to cross a couple rivers on local ferries we can also expect plenty African wild life all gathering to drink all the water.

Not only does Gods highway (The Zambezi river) start here but we can see some incredible migrations. Most noteworthy millions of straw colored fruit bats in the Kasanka Natural park.

Another migration is lots of Wildebeest in the Liuwa plains.

Then of course there is also Kafue National park which is a vast and mostly unexplored wilderness area.

As a result a visit to this immensely beautiful country is certainly a good thing to do.
