Tour Overview

14 day tour Botswana.

In a country that to us is one giant game reserve, adventure is guaranteed. Botswana only has about 1.7 million people living there in an area of over 580 000 square km which makes it one of the most sparsely populated countries in the world. A 14 day tour Botswana is certainly a great trip to do. There are actually more donkeys than people in Botswana. Please click here to see when we are doing this tour again. Of course you can also choose your own dates.

The Okavango Delta is world famous and a World Heritage Site. It has been voted throughout the world as one of the best places to see Southern African Wildlife. As a result it should be on your list of places to see in Botswana. We spend a couple days exploring this amazing wonder of nature.

The Central Kalahari is the 2nd biggest National park in the world and is truly remote.

The Kalahari offers an amazing wild experience but is a semi desert therefore we must be totally self sufficient. We camp in big canvas tents in the Kalahari but the town of Maun is close by if you need a spot of luxury after wild camping.

The Tsidilo hills are the highest mountains in Botswana and a truly special place. Here we find amazing rock art done by the Bushmen ages ago and we can do some hiking.

From Northern Botswana Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe is a short drive so certainly an option. Also the boat trips on the Chobe river are incredible.

Kubu Island is a truly unique landmark in the middle of the Makgadigadi Pans but a visit there is dependent on rain fall. Kubu is known for it's rugged beauty and dramatic rise out of total flatness.  It has a spiritual air about it.
