Tour Overview

Certainly a country with a lot to offer. From the unbelievable Victoria falls to the wild Mana pools and the mystical Zimbabwe ruins.

On our way to Zimbabwe  we stop in at the extremely popular Elephant Sands Resort in Botswana.

Visitors are able to leisurely enjoy watching prolific herds of elephants. They walk vast distances to the central fresh water drinking hole within the camp.

We then cross the border into Zimbabwe where we experience the "Smoke that Thunders" at the majestic Victoria Falls.  David Livingstone named this natural wonder after Queen Victoria in 1855. Available activities here are the world famous white water rafting, bungee jumping and helicopter flips over the mighty Zambezi River. Breakfast or sundowner cruises are available on the splendid Lake Kariba. On the Zambian border activities such as leisurely boat cruises, horse rides or for the extreme angler, the allure of the elusive Tiger Fish on the end of your rod!

Below the Kariba dam on the banks of the Zambezi we find the famous and highly favoured Mana pools. Here you can experience a special and amazing wildlife experience.

Thereafter a stop in at an educational Bird Centre outside the Capital prior to visiting the spiritual center of this amazing country. The Matobo National park. Here too we can visit to Cecil John Rhode's grave. Of course we have to visit the Zimbabwe ruins after which the country is named.
